.
A few months ago I bought Falcon 4.0 (not Allied Force) and I just
printed up the entire 600 page manual. I am up to lesson 8, and I am
having a blast. I have installed the 1.08 patch and the SuperPak 4. I
am running an older system (1.3 gig Pentium 4 with 628 meg of ram,
Geforce 7600 GS video card). I am usually more of a Microsoft Flight
Sim player, but this thing is absolutely incredible. The realism,
especially for a 9 year old simulation, is just staggering. The whole
idea of a war going on around you as you take out targets and evade
enemy missiles and planes is amazing.
I am wondering if there are any of you out there who are still using
the simulator and would enjoy spending a little time training a newbie
on the sim. I am not looking to join a squadron, though there are very
few out there which are not using Allied Force. I feel that with a
trainer I would be able to grasp the concepts much quicker. From what
I gather, there are still thousands of people playing this game and
maybe a few who would enjoy the challenge of getting back into it for
at least a few weeks.
If there are any takers out there, please respond here or email me at
sstahl4006@aol.com.
Thank you.
Steven
I recommend getting Allied Force. Much more stable and enjoyable IMHO,
especially if you're going to play online.
