| | Hi there. I recently bought secondhand another copy of this cool game
(lost my original ages ago), but the seller did not include the card
with the serial number *sighs* Can anyone please supply me with one? I
am happy to prove I own the game. Ask me to hold up the CD with a
message of your choosing in a photo, or whatever it takes. I'm no
pirate. I just want to play this fantastic flight sim again and I'd
really appreciate any help doing so 
Once I have a serial will it work under OSX in classic mode? Or will I
need to install it on my old gaming iMac running 8.6?

330ukp of overtime on an E6600, Gigabyte DS3, and 2Gb of Crucial
Ballistix 5300.
And even though I was prepared for an anti-climax, I've been very
impressed. In a 60secs Fraps test flying low over Sevastopol my x2 3800
@ 2.4GHz averages about 11fps (horrible!) With the E6600 @ 2.4 I get
18fps (ok), and overclocked to 3.15GHz I get 23 (very acceptable). And
that's at *high* visibility range. Excellent stuff, and those results are
repeated in just about every other CPU intensive task.

Just purchased and installed IL-2 1946. I can not remember how to get
my CH Pro Fighterstick, Pro Pedals, and Pro Throttle working in the
sim. I am running the latest 4.20 CH Controller Manager and have all
three calibrated and working in the CM. I have Direct Mode enabled. I
have not mapped anything yet (like views, and the fire button). I
have tried to change the selection in the HOTAS portion of the game
but it won't recognize/change to anything else but the defaults.
Any ideas?

| | I reinstalled Win98 on my machine recently, and now, the CFS1/2 fonts
(some of them) appear as squares. I did go back and reinstall Win98
again, but I still have the same problem.
Has anyone else had this problem? I wonder if I could somehow remove
the fonts and do a clean font install?

loaded it yet, as I need to install a new dvd player. However, a
couple of questions. One, can I install right over my Aces of the
Pacific (I have all the patches up to and including 404m I believe)
and two, is there a patch out for 1946 that I need to be aware of.

I am curious if all the top end cards are maxed out at the same fps, because
did they forget to turn off the fps limiter in FSX? Or is it just locked at
