what programs (for Windows/MSDOS) will identify a BIOS and mainboard? I think Sandra does it, but I was looking for something smaller. I know AMI have a program for their motherboards, but I have Phoenix and Award on my PCs. I recall a program CTBIOS year ago; I don't know if it is updated now.
No one. All the software can read the BIOS and extract some data, like BIOS OEM Sign-On, BIOS string, chipset, date, memory, etc Aida32, known as Everest now, has a large BIOS database, but is very confuse identifying manufacturer an model.. BIOS Agent is my best option: http://www.unicore.com/biosagent/index.cfm Save the results to file bios.txt and you can search the BIOS string in my database: http://www.supportbios.info/busqueda.asp?Idioma=EN
