IPMI Selftest

 Hi,

I need to develop a tool which can trigger the selftesting of all
server components by sending IPMI commands to BMC. By using the tool
"ipmitool", I came to know that only Chassis and BMC can be selftested.

Is it possible that components like fan can be selftested. If so,
what are the components can be selftested as per IPMI specification.

Thanks in advance.
