Kinda a nice EM story. (already posted this on the EM group)

Had a bunch of kids over for party. They played Guitar Hero (of

course), Pool, Foosball, and Pinball. Have a LOTR and I500 in the

house but what game did they play by far the most and trash talk

on....

The EM GTB Super Soccer in the garage!

This has happened before. The EZ rule set really seems to attract new

players. Or maybe it is because the game is an old one "in the shop"

so they aren't afraid they are going to hurt it?

Actual quotes I heard (not making this up) "These old games are better

than the new ones" and "Pinball should be a sport."

Kinda warmed the heart.

Also makes one think if there is more to the idea of having simpler

new games for kids to play. If You think about it, most of us played

simpler games when we were young and as we got older the games got

more involved. So we both evolved at the same time. Now young kids

are playing highly evolved games - the match isn't there for them

anymore.
