| Expo Roommate Wanted-- Borygard 07:46:14 |
| | Hi All, I've got a friend that is looking for a roommate for a room at Expo, at the Westin.
His roommate had an emergency and couldn't make it. He's not sure if he'll be able to stay the whole time if he has to pay the entire bill himself so he's looking for someone to share the room.
He's here through Sunday and doesn't do the RGP thing so I'm posting for him.
If anyone has any interest, please email me directly.

It's about the same size as a TP122 with the metal tab. Has an italicized F on the left of the first row, Fairchild, Fugitsu? Rows are: D429AG M0273007 It's from a Milwaukee sawzall trigger. I swapped in a TP122 and it works but it gets very hot quickly. It has a little internal cicuitry for the speed control. Until I swapped the transistor it didn't work at all (after I changed brushes and the battery contacts, grrr) Thanks, Chris Ever heard of Google? Try searching before posting.
Took me five seconds to find that part, what it is, a supplier, and a PDF, lets see how long it takes you.

| Re: Hyperball Coin Door Interlock Question Lloyd Olson 06:42:59 |
| | Lets the game know the door is open, and game changes and adjustments can be made. If door isn't open ( memory protect switch closed ) you can't make game or adjustment changes. This helps protect the game's settings so there aren't accidentally changed if someone is working on the game. LTG

The two coin interlock switches on Hyperball do what exactly? I know the brown one shuts off power to the game, if it is let out, but what does the other white interlock switch do?

| Re: Funhouse Help please Lloyd Olson 06:42:39 |
| | Power off, I would reseat board connectors in the head a couple times. Go over the rest of the game and look for anything obvious like connectors etc. that may be loose. Check power cord and transformer connections, even wires with the on/off switch. Even be sure any socketed IC's are in tight. LTG

Well, I got the Funhouse home and situated. I plugged it in, turned it on, and no sound and the displays look kinda bad. Both the sound and displays were good when I loaded it up today to bring home. I checked all the plugs in the back box. I didn't unplug and replug any of them. Should I try that or is there something else to check. There is one red LED that blinks on the top left board but I don't know what that means. I couldn't find it in the manual. Let the 'games' begin. lol This is what I get for getting such a good deal. Please call my cell and let me know if you're interested. No pics and no e-mails please as I will probably not be checking e-mail again until after Expo.
Will be set up in the freeplay area.

OK, you all know the story... guy who knows nothing makes his first major pin purchase from "FUN!" on ebay (me, several years ago in this case). Game arrives with holes where holes shouldn't be in playfield, dead flippers, dirty everything, reset issues, broken plastics, cracked cabinet, etc... Well, after a few years of learning and loving pinball, I finally got around to doing a one day (16 hour day) restoration on this "FUN!" Creature. Not a pro job by any means, nor do I claim it to be, but I think it sure turned this game into something I'm proud to have in my home! Thanks for lookin'.

| Re: How does a playfield get this worn ? Lloyd Olson 03:52:18 |
| | Inserts ( plastic ) still have art work, so it doesn't look like it was sanded. The overall discoloring looks like water or something did it. LTG

Well of course they're taped. Could be a safety hazard if he'd just left them loose.
I'm just imagining what the wiring inside the machine looks like if that's what he DOESN'T hide.

| Re: CV boom balloon Lloyd Olson 00:56:51 |
| | Broken wires is a thought. Check anything moving, then check the solenoids themselves for poor solder joints or the tiny wires off the coil to the lugs, for breaks. Since everything else is working, you have a break right in front of you, just need to figure where. LTG

Hi all! My CV boom balloon stopped working the other night. None of the solenoids in the assembly are working. However, the switches register, and the light in the bumper works. The other solenoids in the circuit are still working (other two pop bumpers, etc.). Does anyone have any suggestions? -Al

Alright, my Sing Along is back together, put some credits on the wheel, plug it in, push the replay button....nothing. No lights, no score motor, nothing. All the fuses are good to go. No smoke... Any ideas? Also, there is a 10A fuse for the backbox GI and a 15A for the playfield GI, how can I tell which is which, I tried to check continuity between the fuse holders and a playfield bulb, but they both show continuity....for now I have a 10A in both.

| | http://www.pinballexpo.net/seminar.php Read up, go, have a blast. Of particular interest the Fireside Chat Thursday night with the Nucore Chuck giving his system update for P2K, you won't want to miss that. And a special note, Python at noon on Saturday, you definitely will want to see that.
My plane lands at 7:25am on Friday, Bryan Kelly will be picking me up and off to Expo we go. You have until 9:05am on Saturday when I fly out to catch the Bryan Kelly & LTG Dog and Pony show. You will experience experiences you never dreamed of, see things you've never seen before, live life to it's fullest. Don't miss out. Years from now when you are bouncing your Grandkids on your knee, do you want to tell them you were shoveling crap in shineola ? or do you want to brag to your Grandkids that you were there, you were at Expo, you partied with the best, you witnessed the Bryan Kelly and LTG Dog and Pony show.
