Yeah, I suspect that the Newsletters (being a guy who was heavily
involved with them at the time) were a good idea, and worked well for
a time. But I suspect that they are an artifact of an earlier era of
the internet, and things like blogs and podcasts have probably passed

But should they... is perhaps the real question.

With each of those creative individuals sequestered off in their own
little corners of the internet, none gets the readership/interact­ion
they would have if they were posting to the newsgroup or to the White
Wolf forums.

I would certainly advocate duplicating their posts, and linking to
their blog at the end of each entry. Those readers who want to know
more about the authors thoughts will follow them to the blog, and
those who wish to discuss the ideas brought up can do them on the
newsgroup/forum or at the blog.

Their creativity is going to waste in the greater sense of supporting
the world-wide game if no one but locals reads their blog.....

...maybe someone with a cool centralised vtes page could create an
aggregated blog page of all the more prominent vtes blogs, and post a
link to it monthly in a FAQ posting to a newsgroup or something...
